Homeless - Part 11

Hope everything is going well for you and the Memorial Day celebrations didn't get far out of hand but then again there are times when that is when the most fun takes place. I enjoyed myself during that time.

Things aren't looking too well on the job front. Same goes for applying for public assistance. It seems that a home phone number and residence is required/needed for either. I did encounter an option on the public assistance effort where they were willing to talk with me - right up to the moment they found out the value of my vehicle (over $2000.00) which exceeds an element of their assistance criteria. I came across conflicting information from the people I talked with; some say that there is money available while others say that no money is handed out, that only food is. Sooooo....

I guess I need to sell my truck and buy a bike. During the past couple of years, I've been asked on several occasions if I wanted to sell it but I declined citing that it's paid for and in great condition. A few of them gave me contact information that I kept so I guess I'll give 'em a ring.

Riding a bike as my main transport will certainly help the ol' cardio thingy....
